Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Madden: Yes. <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Yes. <br />Mr. Glassburn: Yes. <br />Mr. Shymske: Yes. <br />Mr. Scarl: Yes. <br />Ms. Hemann: Yes. <br />Mr. Limpert: Yes. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Ordinance 2024-99 is adopted by a vote of 7-0. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2024-100, A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Russ <br />Bassett Corp. to purchase and install three (3) desk units for the renovated Dispatch Center in <br />the North Olmsted Police Department building for the state purchase price of $70,105.05, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, on behalf of myself and Councilwoman Hemann, I introduce place on first <br />reading and request suspension of the rule requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. <br />Councilman Scarl: <br />Mr. President. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Councilman Scarl. <br />Councilman Scarl: <br />At this time, I move to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review <br />for Resolution 2024-100, as this was discussed in Caucus, and with us taking on the new <br />dispatch role of Olmsted Township and Olmsted Falls, we're in need to purchase these new <br />desks, and it takes 10 weeks to get them, and it's going be a tight timeline to make sure we're <br />up and running by January 111, and I ask for a second. <br />Councilwoman Hemann: <br />Second. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review for <br />Resolution 2024-100, made by Councilman Scarl, seconded by Councilwoman Hemann.
