<br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE
<br />COMPENSATION FOR THE ELECTED OFFICIALS OF THE CITY
<br />OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE
<br />COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2016 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31,
<br />2029.
<br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, at Article IV, Section 6,
<br />requires the Council to fix the compensation for all elected officials at least thirty (30)
<br />days prior to the filing date of nominating petitions for terms beginning on the next
<br />succeeding 161 day of January; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the compensation for all
<br />elected officials in compliance with the Charter's requirements.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO.
<br />SECTION 1: That the salary to be paid to the Mayor for the term commencing
<br />January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2029, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 - $121,060.14
<br />Effective January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027 - $124,691.94
<br />Effective January 1, 2028 through December 31, 2028 - $128,432.70
<br />Effective January 1, 2029 through December 31, 2029 - $132,285.68
<br />SECTION 2: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Finance for the term
<br />commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2029, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 - $118,416.49
<br />Effective January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027 - $121,968.99
<br />Effective January 1, 2028 through December 31, 2028 - $125,628.05
<br />Effective January 1, 2029 through December 31, 2029 - $129,396.90
<br />SECTION 3: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Law for the term
<br />commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2029, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 - $74,922.36
<br />Effective January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027 - $77,170.03
<br />Effective January 1, 2028 through December 31, 2028 - $79,485.13
<br />Effective January 1, 2029 through December 31, 2029 - $81,869.68
