Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2024-105 introduced by Mayor Jones. A Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of <br />Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2025 all money due <br />and owing said city from any collection source, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2024-106 introduced by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance to authorize the execution of <br />Then and Now Certificates by the Finance Director and the payment of amounts due for various <br />purchase orders and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2024-107 introduced by Council President Brossard and all of Council. An Ordinance <br />establishing and fixing the compensation for the Elected Officials of the City of North Olmsted <br />for the term of office commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2029. <br />Resolution 2024-108 introduced by Mayor Jones. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to <br />purchase one (1) 2026 HV507 Salt Truck from Rush Truck Centers, through the State Purchasing <br />Program, at a total cost of $157,170.00; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all <br />purchase agreements, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-109 introduced by Mayor Jones. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into a three (3) year contract with the City of Fairview Park, Ohio for the purpose of the City of <br />North Olmsted continuing to provide the City of Fairview Park with police dispatching service, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2024-110 introduced by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of <br />Economic and Community Development to request proposals for engineer services, as required <br />by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), to perform independent, third -party <br />consultation; further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to <br />enter into an agreement with the firm selected in the RFP process, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />Mr. President. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />At this time, I would like to make a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br />formal committee review as this was explained to us in Committee last week of the importance <br />of getting our project going, and the additional funds available to hire this second engineer for <br />this project. <br />11-19-24 Council Meeting Minutes - Page 16 <br />
