Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones <br />City of North Olmsted <br />Re: One -Year Agreement for 2025 Renewal of PIPE Services <br />Dear Mayor Dailey Jones, <br />3311 Perkins Ave. Suite 100 <br />Cleveland, OH 44114 <br />216.524.5580 <br />cuyahogaswcdorg <br />l.ettcr by Email <br />In 2021, your community entered into a live -year agreement with Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District <br />(SWCD) for services related to your community's mandated Public Involvement and Public Education (PIPE) <br />program (under the Ohio EPA Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MSU Permit). Cuyahoga SWCD <br />implements your annual program, at a cost of $6,000.00. <br />Under the MS4 permit, your community is required to develop, implement, and enforce a Stornwatei Management <br />Plan that addresses six Minimum Control Measures, two of which are: <br />• MCM #I: Public Education and Outreach <br />• MCM p2: Public Participation and Involvement <br />Together MCM H I and 02 make up the PIPE Program (Public Involvement, Public Education). Criteria for the PIPE <br />Program is to identify stomnwater pollution concerns, have measurable goals, reach a variety ofaudiences, actively <br />involve potentially affected stakeholder gawps, and evaluate the program's success. All ofthis must be repand <br />annually to Ohio EPA, <br />Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District will continue to implement the PIPE Program in 2025, providing we <br />receive your acknowledgement (see attached for renewal letter template), and the annual fee of $6,000.00 is paid to <br />the Cuyahoga SWCD. <br />You may scan and email the letter of acknowledgement to Teresa Hacndiges at thaendise cu a¢ogaswfd.oq; or <br />mail to: <br />Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation Dish'ict <br />3311 Perkins Avenue tH 00 <br />Cleveland, Ohio 44114 <br />In the meantime, the staff is wrapping up this year's PIPE activities mrd will prepare the annual report in early <br />2025.
