MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 7, 2025 <br />Council President Brossard: <br />The Council meeting of January 7, 2025 will now come to order at 7:31 p.m., and the audience <br />is invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />All: <br />I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it <br />stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Will the clerk please call the roll? <br />Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Brossard: Present <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Here <br />Ms. Hemann: Here <br />Mr. Limpert: Present <br />Mr. Madden: Here <br />Mr. Scarl: Present <br />Mr. Shymske: Here <br />Council President Brossard: <br />If there are no additions or corrections, the Council meeting minutes of December 17, 2024 are <br />approved as written. <br />There are no items being requested for suspension this evening. So we'll move into reports. <br />Mayor Dailey Jones, do you have a report this evening? <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Jones: <br />I do, Mr. President. Thank you. I want to start out by wishing everyone in North Olmsted, <br />especially our City Council members, a very happy New Year. <br />I trust everyone had a good holiday season. The administration is excited to get back to <br />work this year, and we are also glad that one of our former Council members, Chris <br />Glassburn, is now representing us in the Ohio State House. I look forward to working <br />with Council again this year, and also welcoming the newest member of Council once <br />you make that appointment this evening. <br />
