Council President Pro Tempore Scarl:
The Mayor's reappointments to the Arts and landmarks Commissions are approved by a vote
of 7.0.
Councilman Marrie:
Thank you. The Intra -Governmental Relations Committee concluded at 7:11 p.m., and
that concludes my report.
Communications
Council President Pro Tempore Scarl:
Thank you. Are there any letters or communications to come before Council at this time?
Council Clerk:
No, Mr. President.
Council President Pro Tempore Scarl:
Thank you. We will now move into audience participation. Thank you for attending tonight's
Council meeting. Public comment offers the opportunity for members of the public to share
information and bring issues and concerns to the attention of City Council members. It is not a
debate, and public comment speakers should not expect a back -and -forth exchange. Council
members may ask clarifying questions of the speaker, City staff, or fellow Council members.
Those attending City Council meetings should show the same respect to others that they wish
to have shown to them. If there's anyone in the audience who would like to address Council,
please come to the podium, state and spell your name, and address for the clerk. If you live in a
city other than North Olmsted, please state the name of that city, and proceed with your
comments. You will have up to five minutes.
Mr. Gary Cammuso:
My name is Gary Cammuso, and I live at 6097 Stafford Drive, North Olmsted, Ohio. I'm
wondering, for months I've been asking for a list of the tax exempt companies, or tax abated
companies, up and down Lorain Avenue in the City of North Olmsted. I'm getting no lists. I'm
getting nothing. I just want to know; 1 know my taxes went up $1,000 a year. I'm not happy
about it. I'd like to know the abated tax, the companies that get the abated taxes, just the new
taxes, and I'd appreciate that. I'll be out of town for about six weeks. But if you can
accommodate me and get the list within the six weeks, I'd appreciate it.
Mayor Jones:
Mr. President, if Director Upton could address the resident, please?
Council President Pro Tempore Scarl:
Please.
02-04-25 Council Meeting Minutes - Page 11
