With the addition of a new elementary school, North Olmsted aims to identify and implement bike and pedestrian improvements with a commitment to foster a healthy, active, and connected community. The purpose of this School Travel Plan (STP) is to identify policy, program, and infrastructure recommendations for North Olmsted City Local Schools. The identified target schools are North Olmsted Middle School, North Olmsted High School, and the new North Olmsted Elementary School currently in construction which will consolidate the current elementary schools (Pine Intermediate School, Maple Elementary School, Chestnut Elementary School, and Birch Primary School). See the map in Figure 2 for the location of the schools and Figure 3 for the preliminary plan layout of the new elementary school. The 2 -mile radius maps in the appendix show student addresses, and where bike and pedestrian crashes happened within the schools' radius. c`' u
