Council President Brossard: <br />Ordinance 2025-9 is adopted by a vote of 7-0. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2025-10, introduced by Mayor Jones. A Resolution authorizing the Director of <br />Economic and Community Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to <br />provide construction services for the partial removal of the Stearns Road noise barrier, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file with the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br />best bidder. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />Mr. President, at this time, I would like to make a motion to adopt 2025-10 to Council and ask <br />for a second. <br />Councilman Madden: <br />Second <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution 2025-10, made by Councilwoman Gilchrist, seconded by <br />Councilman Madden. Roll call, please. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Yes <br />Mr. Madden: Yes <br />Mr. Marrie: Yes <br />Ms. Hemann: Yes <br />Mr. Limpert: Yes, with comment. I would hope at some point, and I know this was due to a <br />project, but I would like for us at some point to be able to revisit the barrier there at the corner <br />of Chambers on the Crocker extension for safety reasons as well. But, you know, I'm excited this <br />project's moving forward.
