This preservation covenant agreement is made the-24 day of March , 20 <br />25-, between r0ty of North Olmsted] as GRANTOR of a. preservation covenant running with the land <br />(hereafter referred to as the "Grantor"), and the State Historic Preservation .Office of the Ohio History <br />Connection, as GRANTEE of the preservation covenant (hereafter referred to. as.the "Grantee"). The Subject Property. This agreement creates a preservation covenant in real estate legally <br />described in Exhibit A. Grant of preservation.covenant .. In consideration of the sum of $_271,000 <br />received in„grant-in-aid.-financial-assistance from the National Park Service of the United States <br />Department. of fhe,lnterior;�the Grantor hereby:.grants to the Grantee a preservation covenant <br />in the Subject Property for the:p;urpose of assuring preservation of the Subject Property. <br />3. Preservation covenant required for Federal grant. This preservation covenant is granted as a <br />condition of the eligibility of the Grohtor for the financial assistance from the National Park Service of <br />the United States Department of the�lnterior appropriated from the Historic Preservation Fund for the <br />Save AmericasTr..easures <br />4. Conditions of preservationcovenant: <br />a. Duration. This preservation covenant is granted for a period of fifteen (15) years commencing on the <br />date when it is filed with the Cuyahoga _ County Recorder, in the State of Ohio, in the United <br />States of America. <br />h. Documentation of condition of the Old Town Hall at time of grant of this preservation covenant. In <br />order to make more certain the full extent of Grantor's obligations and the restrictions on the <br />Subject Property, and in order to document the nature and condition of the Subject Property, <br />including significant interior elements in spatial context, a list of character -defining materials, <br />
