Wall Mural. A sign that is attached to or directly painted on to the exterior wall <br />of a building. Wall murals are intended to be viewed by pedestrians and motor <br />vehicles from a distance. <br />i. Skyline Sign. A sign erected on or mounted to the uppermost horizontal <br />architectural band of a building to identify the name of the building or <br />primary commercial establishment. Skyline signs are intended to be viewed <br />by pedestrians and motorists from a distance and serve as an icon for the <br />building. <br />i. Standards. <br />(1) Skyline signs are only permitted on buildings 3 stories tall or taller. <br />(2) No portion of a skyline sign is permitted to extend below the start <br />of the highest story of a building or above the roof line, parapet <br />wall, or cornice of the top portion of a facade and is prohibited from <br />covering windows or architectural details. <br />(3) Only internal illumination is permitted. <br />JANUARY 24, 2025 55 <br />
