SECTION 3 <br />DESIGN GUIDELINES <br />The design guidelines are organized into eight topics: <br />■ Orientation & Placement <br />■ Massing & Scale <br />■ Architectural Elements <br />■ Fenestration <br />■ Townhomes <br />■ Parking <br />■ Pedestrian Amenities <br />■ Signage <br />■ Lighting <br />A combination of graphics and images are provided to further illustrate the guidelines. <br />When interpreting the design guidelines, the word "should" is a preferred requirement; the <br />word "may" signifies a permissive or discretionary requirement. <br />All words and terms used have their commonly accepted and ordinary meaning, unless the <br />context in which they are used clearly indicates the contrary or they are specifically defined in <br />Section 4 of this Design Manual. <br />
