Councilman Limpert:
Thank you. Just as mentioned in my report regarding Resolution 2025-62, that was held in
Committee. And due to that, I'd like to make a motion to remove Resolution 2025-62 from the
agenda and ask for a second.
Councilwoman Hemann:
Second.
Council President Brossard:
Okay. Motion to remove Resolution 2025-62. Resolution 2025-62 from the agenda made by
Councilman Limpert, seconded by Councilwoman Hemann. Roll call, please.
Council Clerk:
Mr. Limpert: Yes
Ms. Hemann: Yes
Ms. Gilchrist: Yes
Mr. Shymske: Yes
Mr. Scarl: Yes
Mr. Madden: Yes
Mr. Marrie: Yes
Council President Brossard:
Resolution 2025-62 is removed from this evening's agenda by a vote of 7-0. And then,
Councilman Shymske, do you have a report this evening?
Councilman Shymske:
As it turns out, I do. [laughing] The Public Safety, Health, and Welfare Committee met today at
7:18 p.m. in the Caucus room. Present were Committee Members Shymske, Madden, and
Hemann. Also present were Councilmen Limpert, Marrie, Scad, and Councilwoman Gilchrist.
Also present was Council President Brossard, the Mayor, the Assistant Law Director, Finance
Director, HR Director, Economic Director, Safety Director, and Rec Director.
• Legislation was Ordinance 2025-64, Alarm Systems. Director Scofield discussed how it
was an outdated Chapter from 1984, and the technology has certainly changed
regarding this aspect, and that it also repeals a reference from Chapter 561. A motion
was made by Councilman Shymske and seconded by Hemann, and it was voted to
recommend to Council 3-0, and that concludes my report.
Council President Brossard:
Thank you. And we will now move into legislation.
06 :.1.7-25 Council Meeting Minutes Page 7
