music, food, and community. A big thank you to the Parks and Recreation team, our
volunteers, and city staff who helped make these events possible. As Council takes a
well -deserved break, we send our very best wishes for a restful and enjoyable July, and
we look forward to continuing the momentum when you return in August. Thank you.
Council President Brossard:
Thank you, Mayor. Assistant Director of Law O'Malley, do you have a report this evening?
Law
Assistant Law Director O'Malley:
Thank you, Mr. Council President. I do not.
Council President Brossard:
Thank you, and Director of Finance Copfer, do you have a report this evening?
Finance:
Finance Director Copfer:
Yes, I do, Mr. President.
• On Tuesday, June 10th, our notes sold. We were four times oversubscribed in the initial
order period, which is a really good sign. With four of them, the investment people
wanting the whole amount of notes, we were able to then lower the yield somewhat
and narrow it down to who would stay and do that. So we had a successful sale. We sold
at a 3.3% yield, and the coupon on the note is 4%; and the all -in tick, which includes the
cost of issuance, rate is 3.846. And that concludes my report.
Council President Brossard:
Thank you. Before moving into Council Committee reports, I'd like to just take a moment of
personal privilege. Although he's not present in the audience this evening, I just want to wish
our outgoing Special Assistant to the Mayor, Chuck Massarolo, all the best. We've had the
pleasure of working with Chuck as both Special Assistant to the Mayor and, prior to that, as our
Clerk of Council, and he's just a wonderful human being, and I wish him all the best moving
forward. But we also welcome with open arms the incoming Special Assistant, Mike Byrne, who
many of us are already familiar with. Thank you.
