• Director Pinchek stated that the floorboards in the middle of the ballroom at the Springvale Ballroom facility seem to flex, and after inspection, the floor beams were deemed to need repair as some of them were cracking. For safety, the floorboard supports beams have been repaired temporarily, and that they are being supported with flooring joists in the lower level of the facility. Director Pinchek said that the engineering estimate is approximately $75,000.00 and will be put out to bid to permanently repair the ballroom floor. In order to maintain the historic integrity of the ballroom, the original floorboards will remain, and the supporting beams will be replaced. Ms. Hemann made a motion to recommend 2025-51 to all of Council, seconded by Mr. Scarl. That motion carried 2-0, and the meeting concluded at 7:22 p.m. Thank you, Mr. President.
