A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to acquire an additional eight (8) <br />FLOCK Safety Falcon License Plate Readers (LPRs) as part of the Violent Crime Reduction <br />Program grant totaling $24,000.00 and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Ordinance 2025-71. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a purchase agreement <br />with Faro Technologies for the purchase of a Faro Focus Core 3D Replacement Scanner to be <br />used by the Police Department, at a cost of $48,997.23 funded through the Equitable Sharing <br />Fund and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2025-72. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept a donation of an agile canine <br />vest with ballistic protection from Councilwoman Mary Ellen Hemann, valued at $1,232.30, to <br />be used by the North Olmsted Police Department, and deployed by the K-9 unit for protection <br />of its dog, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce, place on first reading and request suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. <br />Councilwoman Hemann: <br />Mr. President? <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Councilwoman Hemann. <br />Councilwoman Hemann: <br />I would like to make a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings.
