Mayor Jones: Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. Council Clerk: Ordinance 2025-74. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to contract for and proceed with demolition and removal of unsafe structures located at 5035 Porter Road, in the City of North Olmsted, as a public nuisance, and further directing that abatement costs be certified as a lien upon said parcel, pursuant to R.C. 715.26 and 715.261, and declaring an emergency. Mayor Jones: Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. Council Clerk: Ordinance 2025-75. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for excess insurance coverage for the City Health Care & Hospitalization Plans for 2026, and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for said insurance coverage. Mayor Jones: Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. Council Clerk: Resolution 2025-76. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for the purchase, monitoring service and installation of three (3) additional FLOCK cameras from FLOCK Group, Inc. to be installed at North Olmsted Community Park, and declaring an emergency. Mayor Jones: Mr. President, I introduce, place on first reading and request suspension of the rule requiring three readings and formal committee review. Councilwoman Hemann: Mr. President? Council President Brossard: Councilwoman Hemann. Councilwoman Hemann: Thank you. I'd like to make a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. This was heard in committee this evening, the Flock Cameras are our new sort of security system for our park, and as the park is now nearing completion, we need to have these, and it is a safety item in the best interest of our residents, and I'd like to ask for a second. 08 05 25 Council Meeting Minutes ..
