CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO.2025 - 82 BY: Mayor Jones AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 131 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ENTITLED, "MAYOR'S OFFICE" FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE TITLE OF THE MAYOR'S SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE MAYOR'S CHIEF OF STAFF, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends and seeks amendment of the Organizational Chart for the purpose of changing the title from the Mayor's Special Assistant to the Mayor's Chief of Staff within the Mayor's Office; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to amend Chapter 131 at 131.04 and 131.99(a) for the purpose of changing the title of the Mayor's assistant in the Organization Chart. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Chapter 131 "Mayor's Office" which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein, shall be amended and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in the attached Exhibit B. SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re -codification. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason to change the title consistent with the position and responsibilities; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two thirds of the members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
