CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO.2025 - 81 BY: Mayor Jones AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 145.99(c) OF CHAPTER 145 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ENTITLED "DIVISION OF SPRING VALE - DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION & PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT," FOR THE PURPOSE OF CHANGING THE POSITION OF PART-TIME FOOD SUPERVISOR TO FULL-TIME HOSPITALITY SUPERVISOR WITHIN THE DIVISION OF SPRINGVALE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends and seeks amendment of the Organizational Chart for the purpose of revising the position of Part-time Food Supervisor to Full-time Hospitality Supervisor to the Division of Springvale within the Department of Recreation & Public Engagement; and WHEREAS, the purpose of the revision of personnel at Springvale is to accommodate increased demand for food services at the Clubhouse and in the Ballroom; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Recreation & Public Engagement as well as the Facilities Manager, and the desire of Council to amend Section 145.99(c) for the purpose of revising the position of Part-time Food Supervisor to Full-time Hospitality Supervisor within the Division of Springvale / Department of Recreation & Public Engagement. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Section 145.99(c) "Division of Springvale - Department of Recreation & Public Engagement" which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein, shall be amended and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in the attached Exhibit B. SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re -codification. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason to accommodate increased demand for food services; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two thirds of the members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
