CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO.2025 - 84 <br />BY: Mayor Jones <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 141.99(a) OF CHAPTER 141 OF <br />THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ENTITLED "DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE," FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADDING A POSITION OF PART- <br />TIME CLERICAL SUPPORT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends and seeks amendment of the Organizational Chart <br />for the purpose of adding the position of Part-time Clerical Support to the Department of Public <br />Service; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the increase in personnel in the Department is to support the <br />increased demand for public services; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Public Service and the desire of <br />Council to amend Section 141.99(a) for the purpose of adding the position of Part-time Clerical <br />to the Department of Public Service. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That Section 141.99(a) "Department of Public Service" which presently <br />reads in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached to this Ordinance and <br />incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein, shall be amended and, as amended, shall <br />read in its entirety as set forth in the attached Exhibit B. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with <br />this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or <br />inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re -codification. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason to <br />accommodate increased demand for public services; and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two thirds of the members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately pon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: a j/ ��+�' First Reading: j9-aSi <br />U Second Reading. 1 -"-7 �S— <br />Third Reading: 67—/4, - ��— <br />Committee: 4t--IA 2 _ice <br />
