MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />OCTOBER 7, 2025 <br />Council President Brossard: <br />[The Council meeting of October 7,j 2025, will now please come to order at 7:30 p.m. The <br />audience is invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />All: <br />I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it <br />stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Will the Clerk please call the roll? <br />Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Brossard: Present <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Here <br />Ms. Hemann: Here <br />Mr. Limpert: Present <br />Mr. Madden: Here <br />Mr. Marrie: Here <br />Mr. Scarl: Present <br />Mr. Shymske: Here <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Council President Brossard: <br />If there are no additions or corrections, the Council Meeting Minutes of September 16, 2025, <br />are approved as written. <br />There are three items being requested for suspension this evening. They are Resolution 2025- <br />87 and Resolution 2025-93, both on second reading, and then Resolution 2025-98, which is on <br />first reading. <br />Tonight we're going to be doing things a little bit different because we have some special guests <br />in the house, and there's some proclamations that are being presented this evening. The special <br />guests would be my wife, Joni, is here, my daughter, Devon, and my future grandchild is also <br />there, and then we have three members of the Epilepsy Association based in Cleveland. <br />We have Patty Varanese, who is the Executive Director, we have Ethan Miller, who is the <br />Development Director, and then we have Beth Ulrich, who is on the Development Team. So, <br />and I'm telling you this because we, my family has undergone a SUDEP Awareness Campaign for <br />the month of October 2025. <br />
