Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2025-108. A Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for <br />cracksealing on various streets in the city, as per specifications on file in his office, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for the same, after Board of Control approval. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2025-109. A Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the <br />award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets and locations in the <br />city, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of <br />the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2025-110. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Performance <br />Agreement with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra for a concert at North Olmsted Park as part of <br />the Saturday in the Park Concert Series and the official ribbon cutting of the North Olmsted <br />Park Renovation Project, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce, place on first reading and request suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. <br />Councilwoman Hemann: <br />Mr. President. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Councilwoman Hemann. <br />Councilwoman Hemann: <br />I'd like to make a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />process for 2025-110. This was heard in Caucus this evening and this agreement is for the <br />Cleveland Pops to perform at a Saturday in the Park concert along with the ribbon -cutting for <br />the opening of the park and our nation's 250th birthday. The Cleveland Pops perform at <br />Playhouse Square Blossom Music Center and Severance Hall and are very popular music with a <br />classical twist.
