CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025 -104 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT TO PROVIDE SERVICES <br />TO INSTALL A SANITARY MANHOLE WITH PARSIJALL FLUME <br />MEASURING DEVICE ALONG MACKENZIE ROAD, AS DETAILED IN <br />THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE IN THE DIVISION OF ENGINEERING, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF THE <br />BOARD OF CONTROL, TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME WITH THE <br />LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted Division of Wastewater is in need of professional <br />services to install a sanitary manhole with Parshall Flume measuring device along Mackenzie <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the City Engineer to advertise for <br />bids for the award of a contract to undertake the installation of a manhole and Parshall Flume <br />measuring device, and to further authorize the Mayor, following approval by the Board of <br />Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the City Engineer is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for a <br />contract to undertake installation of a manhole and Parshall Flume measuring device along <br />Mackenzie Road, in accordance with the plans and specifications on file; and further that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to enter into such a <br />contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best <br />bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: D First Reading: <br />Second Reading: 1;-/S7-�LS� <br />Third Reading: /,a - a- <br />Committee:/ <br />ATTEST.• f_ <br />4&,— <br />B ATRICE TAYL LO J.
