Building, Zoning and Development Committee <br />Councilman Limpert: <br />I do, Mr. President. Thank you. The Building, Zoning and Development Committee met on <br />December 9, 2025 at 7:05 p.m., and I'll say the meeting concluded at 7:28 p.m. Present were <br />Committee Members Limpert, Gilchrist, Council Members Hemann, Scarl, Madden, Marrie, <br />Mayor, Law Director, Service Director, Chief of Staff to the Mayor, Safety and Service Director, <br />and Councilwoman -Elect Carr was there, which I noted, and guests. So, she'll be joining us <br />shortly. <br />• On the agenda was Resolution 2025-115, School Site Plan SOQ, and this is presented as <br />a substitute Resolution to the Resolution reviewed on November 26, 2025, that was <br />held in Committee. So, I'm going to read that quickly. It was a Substitute Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to solicit statements <br />of qualifications from qualified firms to provide site study and feasibility analysis, and <br />those are kind of the key words of the change here, of Pine, Maple and Chestnut school <br />property sites and further authorizing the Mayor following approval of the Board of <br />Control to enter in the contract with the most qualified firm to provide such services. <br />This was discussed in committee. Ms. Gilchrist requested that we hold in Committee to <br />further review some of the language in the Ordinance and make sure that it properly <br />conveys the message, as well as for Mr. Shymske to opine on it as well, and the motion <br />was made to hold in Committee by a vote of 2-0, and the meeting, as I said, concluded <br />at 7:28 p.m. <br />Mr. President, at this time, I'd like to make a motion to replace current Resolution 2025-115 <br />from a resolution originally introduced and ask for a second. <br />Councilman Shymske: <br />Second. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to replace current Resolution 2025-115 from resolution originally introduced, made by <br />Councilman Limpert, seconded by Councilman Shymske.
