Council Clerk: Resolution 2025-125, introduced by Mayor Jones. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the 2026 Sidewalk Program, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilwoman Gilchrist: Mr. President. Council President Brossard: Councilwoman Gilchrist. Councilwoman Gilchrist: At this time, I move to adopt resolution 2025-125 and ask for a second. Councilman Madden: Second. Council President Brossard: Motion to adopt resolution 2025-125 made by Councilwoman Gilchrist, seconded by Councilman Madden. Roll call, please. Mr. President, I will have been going throughout this process a few years now and a few cycles of the sidewalk program. I've heard on a number of residents over the years about the cost and sidewalk versus other things. I'll be working with my colleagues that hopefully we'll be able to come up with something that takes some action around the cost factor that residents. Thank you.
