Council Clerk: <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Yes <br />Mr. Scarl: Yes <br />Ms. Carr: Yes <br />Mr. Shymske: Yes <br />Mr. Limpert: Yes <br />Mr. Marrie: Yes <br />Mr. Madden: Yes <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Ordinance 2026-18 is adopted by a vote of 7-0. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Ordinance 2026-19, introduced by Mayor Jones. An Ordinance to make and transfer <br />appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for <br />the year ending December 31, 2026, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Legislation on first reading. <br />Resolution 2026-20. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Recreation and Public <br />Engagement to apply for a grant from the Ohio General Assembly Capital Budget Community <br />Project Grant in the amount of $241,643.00 for the North Olmsted Park Veterans Memorial <br />renovation project, and further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant and execute all grant <br />documents, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President, I introduce and place on first reading, and request suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />Mr. President. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />At this time, I would like to suspend the rule requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review as this was discussed in caucus and there's a March 12th deadline that we have to meet <br />so it's important to have this done so that can be met, and ask for a second. <br />Councilman Scarl: <br />Second. <br />03-03-26 Council Meeting Minutes Page :1.6 <br />
