CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.2026 -17 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR LEAF COLLECTION SERVICES AS PER <br />THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND, AFTER APPROVAL OF THE <br />BOARD OF CONTROL, FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. <br />WHEREAS, the Service Department has prepared and filed all necessary bid specifications <br />to advertise for bids for leaf collection services throughout the City; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for leaf collection services, commencing in 2026, and to further authorize the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said leaf collection, after <br />Board of Control approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for leaf collection needs throughout the City in accordance with the bid <br />specifications now on file (up to a three (3) year contract), and further, that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest date provided for by law. <br />PASSED: / �D n First Reading: o2-/ 7 -24, <br />Second Reading: 3 - 3- � <br />Third Reading: 3-/ <br />Committee: <br />ATTEST: <br />&��& ` <br />BEATRICE TA YL OAJ LO S J.
