CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.2026 - 37 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO <br />PROVIDE ROOF EP 4 C "1EA1 REPAIRS AT NORTH OLMSTED CITY <br />HALL, AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF THE BOARD <br />OF CONTROL, TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME WITH THE LOWEST AND <br />BEST BIDDER, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the roof of the City Hall complex has exceeded its life expectancy and is in <br />need of repair; and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications to competitively bid a roof rat repair <br />have been prepared (or are in the process of being prepared) and shall be on file; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide anew repairs to the City Hall roof, as shall <br />be set forth in specifications, and to further authorize the Mayor, following approval by the Board <br />of Control to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide roof repairs at City Hall, as <br />detailed in the specifications to be on file in the Service Department, and that further, the Mayor, <br />following approval by the Board of Control, is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf <br />of the City with the lowest and best bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: _ <br />First Reading.
