Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2026-44. A Resolution authorizing the City of North Olmsted to participate as a <br />designated Store It Safe (SIS) program community in Ohio, and declaring an emergency <br />Council President Pro Tern Scarl: <br />On behalf of Mayor Jones, I introduce and place on first reading and request suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. <br />Councilman Shymske: <br />Mr. President. <br />Council President Pro Tern Scarl: <br />Councilman. <br />Councilman Shymske: <br />I'd like to, at this time I move to suspend the rules regarding three readings and formal <br />committee review for Resolution 2026-44. As we heard in Caucus, it's for our Store -It -Safe <br />program for gun safety, and the City's grant expires at year's end. By suspending, the City can <br />get those funds quicker, and I ask for a second. <br />Councilman Madden: <br />Second. <br />Council President Pro Tern Scarl: <br />Motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review for <br />Resolution 2026-44, made by Councilman Shymske, seconded by Councilman Madden.
