CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION 2026-59 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY FISCAL OFFICER TO ADVANCE <br />TAXES FROM THE PROCEEDS OF ALL TAX LEVIES FOR THE TAX YEAR 2026 <br />PURSUANT TO THE OHIO REVISED CODE. <br />WHEREAS, Ohio revised Code Section 321.34 provides that any money in the Cuyahoga <br />County Treasury paid to the account of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio and lawfully applicable <br />to the purpose of the current fiscal year, may be drawn by request; and <br />WHEREAS, Such provision will provide for effective and efficient cash management of the City <br />by providing property tax revenue to be distributed by the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer to the <br />City in advance of the close of the tax collection and settlement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby requested <br />to draw warrants, and the Treasurer of said County be and is hereby requested to advance on <br />property tax funds and to pay over to the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted any <br />money in the Cuyahoga County Treasury to the account of said City and lawfully applicable to <br />the purposes of the current fiscal year. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby directed to certify a copy of this <br />Resolution to said County Fiscal Officer. <br />PASSED: ZD <br />AT EST.- <br />�u t <br />BEATRICE TAYLOR <br />Clerk of Coun ' <br />APPROVE2'�L' <br />First Reading: 94 <br />Second Reading:7_( - o�L, <br />Third Reading: C� — <br />Committee: <br />/ L. �7_(___� <br />LOUIS J.
