SECTION 1: That the Director of Economic and Community Development be <br />and he is hereby authorized to solicit or invite Statements of Qualification (S.O.Q.) from <br />qualified firms to present residential redevelopment concepts and plans to the City of North <br />Olmsted for the Pine, Chestnut and Maple Elementary School sites based on specifications <br />now on file in his office, and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into an agreement for such services with the most qualified firm <br />to provide the services at a price that is fair and reasonable to the City. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for <br />the further reason that it is essential to have underway a redevelopment plan prior to the <br />acquisition of the sites in 2027; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ;40�(O' First Reading: <br />Second Reading: 4—� ,74 <br />Third Reading: 9-�Ss1G <br />Committee: 4 (� <br />ATTEST: <br />I <br />Clerk of Council <br />Z.vle5ee� <br />CHRISTOPHE,f F.
