CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004-94 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RANGE OF COMPENSATION RATES FOR A NEW PART-TIME POS/TION IN <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADJUSTING THE ADM/NISTRATOR AND ACTIVITIES <br />COORDINATORS' SALARY RANGES FOR THE YEARS 2004 AND 2005; AND OTHERWISE RE-STATING THE <br />COMPENSATION RATE RANGES FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR <br />THE YEARS 2004 AND 2005, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2003-138, as amended from time to time, established the compensation rate ranges and <br />benefits for the City's various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 through 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish compensation rate ranges for the newly created part-time <br />position of Title III C Program Manager in the Department of Human Resources (Division of Aging), adjust the <br />Administrator and Activities Coordinators' salary ranges, and to otherwise re-establish all of the existing <br />compensation rate ranges for the City's personnel for the year 2004 and 2005, established by Ordinance No. 2003- <br />138, as amended from time to time; and. <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly necessary to amend Section 15 of Ordinance No. 2004-50, the most recently amended <br />version of Ordinance No. 2003-138, to create a new Section 15 for position of "Title IIIC Program Manager (Part- <br />time)" within the Department of Human Resources (Division of Aging), at the range set forth herein; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 15 of Ordinance No. 2004-50 presently reads as follows: <br />SECTION 15: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for various employees of the Division of <br />Aging. The salaries in this section shall be determined by the Director of Human Resources and the Mayor as <br />appropriate. <br />FROM TO <br /> 2004 2005 <br />A. Administrator 846.15 1,955.69 1,994.81 Biweekly <br />B. Outreach Worker 6.00 15.96 16.28 Per Hour <br />C. Activities Coordinator NA 1,077.81 1,099.36 Biweekly <br />D. Craft Instructor 6.25 15.96 16.28 Per Hour <br />E. Nutrition Aides (Part Time) 5.25 6.75 6.89 Per Hour <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance no. 2003-138, as most recently amended by Ordinance No. 2004-50, is <br />hereby amended, as set forth below, to provide for a newly created position within the Department of Human <br />Resources (Division of Aging) entitled Title III C Program Manager, and to reflect the creation of a subsection setting <br />forth compensation rate ranges for said position, as set forth below. <br />SECTION Z: That the following salary ranges are hereby established: <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />t , , 1
