.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99 - 64 <br />BY.• MAYOR NORMAN MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING NEW SECTION 143.02 OF <br />CHAPTER 143 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, ENTITLED "BOARDS AND <br />COMMISSIONS GENERALLY, " IN ORDER TO CLARIFY <br />THE DUTIES OF THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT CLERK <br />OF COMMISSIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council continues to recognize the need for a full-time Assistant <br />Clerk of Commissions; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to clarify the duties of said position in the <br />Administrative Code of the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION ONE: That there be and hereby is created new Section 143.02 of Chapter <br />143 of the Administrative Code, which, as created, shall read in its entirety as follows: <br />"143.02 ASSISTANT CLERK OF COMMISSIONS. <br />(A) There is hereby created the position of Assistant Clerk of Commissions. <br />(B) The Mayor shall appoint and remove the Assistant Clerk of Commissions. The <br />position shall be full-time. The compensation for the Assista.nt Clerk of Commissions shall be <br />set by the Mayor within a range, or no greater than the amount, established by Council. <br />(C) The Assistant Clerk of Commissions shall assist, and work under the direction of, <br />the Clerk of Commissions in the performance of the latter's duties as set forth in Section <br />143.01 of this Chapter. <br />SECTION 2: That any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with or in conflict <br />with this Ordinance, to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict with this Ordinance, be <br />and hereby are repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />
