CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99 - 55 <br />BY.• COUNCILMAN DEAN McKAY <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING NEW SECTION 171.07 OF <br />CHAPTER 171 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, ENTITLED "COMMUNITY <br />REINVESTMENT, " IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH THE <br />POSITION OF PART-TIME SECRETARY TO THE HOUSING <br />COUNCIL AND TAX INCENTIVE REVIEW COUNCIL, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Codified Ordinances for the City of North Olmsted presently do not <br />establish a position known as Secretary to the Housing Council/Tax Incentive Review Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the HC/'TIRC requires a secretary for the purpose of receiving, processing <br />and filling applications and reports pertaining to the tax abatement; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to provide a secretary for the Housing <br />Council/Tax Incentive Review Council; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION ONE: That there be and hereby is created new Section 171.07 of Chapter <br />171 of the Administrative Code, which, as created, shall read in its entirety as follows: <br />"171.07 SECRETARY TO HOUSING COUNCIL/TAX INCENTIVE REVIEW <br />COiJNCIL." <br />(A) There is hereby created the position of Secretary to the Housing Council and Tax <br />Incentive Review Council. <br />(B) The Mayor shall appoint and remove the Secretary. The position shall be part- <br />time. The salary of the Secretary shall be set by the Mayor within a salary range established <br />by Council. The Secretary shall be a salaried employee and therefore shall not be subject to <br />the prohibitions against multiple part-time city employment contained in Section 161.08 of the <br />Administrative Code or elsewhere within the Codified Ordinances of this city. <br />i
