<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -161 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR DIESEL FUEL AND <br />GASOLINE PRODUCTS FOR IISE BY THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AS PER SPECIFICATIONS NOW ON FILE IN HIS <br />OFFICE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized <br />to advertise for bids for diesel fuel and gasoline products for use in the City of North <br />Olmsted, in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declaxed to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare and for the further reason that it is necessary to provide for the City's fuel and <br />gasoline needs prior to December 31, 2003, the date the current contract expires, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />C' <br />PASSED: /h , a <» i First Reading: ) i ?- c '3 <br />Second Reading. ?e) 3 <br />Third Reading: <br />r_-'--__-- <br />Committee: <br />A ST. <br />> <br />BARBARA L.
