CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2003 - 154 BY: Mayor Musial AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 945 OF THE STREETS, UTILITIES AND PUBLIC SERVICES CODE ENTITLED "COMMUNITY CABIN/SENIOR CENTER" ; SPECIFICALLYAMENDING SECTION 945.05 "RATES, CHARGES AND DEPOSITS" R'HEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Human Services to restrict the rental of the Senior Citizens Multi-Services Center as a facility available for use by the general public; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Human Services that the usage of the Senior Citizens Multi-Services Center be limited to activities and programming for senior citizens, for persons with disabilities, and for organization within certain restrictions, and otherwise limited to such days and hours as will not interfere with the primary mission of the Division of Aging; and WHEREAS, this proposal was unanimously endorsed by the Division of Aging Senior Advisory Board on September 25, 2003; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to follow the recommendations of the Director of Human Services and the Senior Advisory Board, to provide for and enhance the facility accommodations of the Division of Aging, and to regulate the rental of the Senior Citizens Multi-Services Center by amendment of Section 945.05; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Section 945.05 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code of the City of North Olmsted, which presently reads as follows: 945.05 RATES, CHARGES AND DEPOSITS. The Community Cabin shall be rented on an hourly basis and with hourly rates. The rates, charges and deposits for the rental of the Community Cabin/Senior Center shall be as follows: Nonnrofit City OrQanization Sixty percent (60%) of inembers shall be residents of the City (current membership roster, organization definition and statement of purpose-bylaws shall be provided and 501(c)(3) IRS status with a City address or active and valid membership in North Olmsted Community Council or Church).
