CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2003 -144 <br />BY: Council Member Gareau <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1126.03 AND 1126.04 OF <br />CHAPTER 1126 OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING CODE <br />ENTITLED "COMMERCIAL AND OTHER BUILDING PERMITS"; <br />TO PROVIDE FOR THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING TO REVIEW <br />DEVELOPMENT PLANS, ASAMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, by Ordinance 1999-126, passed August 7, 2002, this Council <br />established the Department of Planning and later in 2003 appropriated funds for the <br />Director of Planning; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has provided for building permit and development <br />review procedures before the Architectural Review Board and Planning Commission in <br />Chapters 1125 and 1126 of the Planning and Zoning Code; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the authority of the <br />Director of Planning with respect to said building permit and development review <br />procedures in the City, to work with and coordinate such review matters following the <br />Building Commissioners receipt of such application, and to provide professional <br />consultation to all the administrative bodies of the City; and <br />C??--? , <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on the ), A,4 _ day of ? <br />2003, by formal motion, recommended that this Ordinance, proposing to amend Chapter <br />1126 of the Planning and Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted by changing the <br />procedure for review by the Director of Planning for commercial building permits and <br />adopting other new procedures (approved)(disapproved); and <br />WHEREAS, following publication of newspaper notice, a public hearing was <br />held in conformance with the provisions of Section 14 Article N of the Charter and <br />Section 1127.03 of the Zoning Code, on the -3 day of 2003: k/ <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII, OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That Sections 1126.03 of Chapter 1126 of the Zoning and Planning <br />Code which presently reads as follows: <br />
