CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 6 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH LDMI <br />TELECOMMtINICATlONS, INC, PROVIDING FOR LONG <br />DISTANCE TELEPHONE SERVICES FOR THE CITY FOR A TWO- <br />YEAR TERM, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation af the Director of Finance that the City continue to <br />use LDMI Telecommunications, Inc., as the provider of the City's long distance telephone <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City enter into a two-yeaz agreement with LDMI <br />Telecommunications, Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, it is not necessary to competitively bid for the award of the City's contract <br />for long distance services because the expenditures pursuant to the proposed contract will not <br />exceed $15,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with LDMI Telecommunica.tions, Inc; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTIONI_ That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into an agreement <br />with LDMI Telecommunications, Inc., to provide long distance services to the City for a two- <br />year term, which shall be in the form and substance of the attached "LDMI Telecommunications <br />Term Agreement," marked as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 2: That the City is not authorized to expend, pursuant to said Agreement, an <br />amount that exceeds $15,000.00, <br />.?.o+, .,, ;
