CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 17 <br />BY: Mayor Bovle and the Entire ouncil <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SANITARY SEWER <br />REHABILITATION, PHASE G, IlVIPROVEMENTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for sanitary sewer <br />improvements at various locations in the City of North Olmsted and deems it appropriate for the <br />best utilization of the sewer system to construct the aforesaid sanitary sewer improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the City Engineer, is <br />desirous of having the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications now in his office for the purpose of constructing sanitary sewer <br />improvements, and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TI-E CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Phase G, <br />improvements at various locations in the City of North Olmsted, all of which shall be in <br />accordance with specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute the same on behalf <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents served by these sewers and further, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />
