CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 -14 <br />BY: Councilman David Lind <br />A RESOLUTION AUTIiORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IlVIPROVEMENT OF AMBOUR DRNE AS <br />DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving the pavement <br />and sewers on Ambour Drive and extending the culvert south of Ambour Drive, and <br />WIiEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepazed under the direction of the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an Agreement to <br />construct said improvement. <br />NOW TI-EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIiE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SF.('TION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for the improvement of Ambour Drive and culvert extension according to <br />specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SF.C'TION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and further, <br />provided it receives the affurnative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />, --? <br />PASSED <br />t4?
