??.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 -11 <br />BY: Councilman David Lind <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IlVIPROVEMENT OF ALEXANDER ROAD AS <br />DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTRACT FOR THF, SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving the pavement <br />and sewers on Alexander Road by constructing a concrete pavement with curbing and installing <br />a new storm sewer system, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepazed under the direction of the Engineering <br />Deparhnent of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an Agreement to <br />construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SF,CTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for the improvement of Alexander Road according to specifications <br />now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Boazd of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and further, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take e ect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED ? ??--?--?- <br />?- - <br />, <br />. <br />S'? f <br />? <br />?
