C <br />BY; ~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 72- ~~- <br />.~ <br />A RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO THE APPLICATION <br />OF RICHARD L. STOMPS DBA EPICURES BEVERAGE <br />SHOP IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS <br />OF O. R.C. 4303.261 AND FURat'HER DUE TO " SUITA- <br />ABILITY OF LOCATION", AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee of Council has <br />reviewed the application for a D 5 Permit No. New 8602919 submitted by Richard <br />L. Stomps dba Epicures Beverage Shop to be located at 23239 Lorain Road, North <br />Olmsted, Ohio r and <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare <br />Committee of Council that said location is undesirable for a liquor permit and <br />have so advised Council ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council now wishes to go on record as objecting to the D 5 <br />Permit No. New 8602919 as applied for. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Council of the City of North Olmsted objects to the <br />granting of the D 5 Permit No. 8602919 to Richard L. Stomps dba Epicures Beverage <br />Shop at 23239 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, on the grounds set forth in O.R. <br />C. 4303. 261 and further set forth as to "Suitability of Location "for said D 5 <br />Permit No. 8602919. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to send a <br />certified and conformed copy of said Resolution by Certified Mail immediately <br />in order that it will be reached by the Department of Liquor Control prior to <br />June 1, 1972. <br />Section 3. That thf s Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety, <br />health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that sabd Resolution must be <br />received by the Department of Liquor Control prior to June 1, 1972. WHEREFORE, <br />this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
