<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. ~1-174 <br />BY SIG, ~!r _ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE <br />ILLUMINATING COMPANY FOR FURNISHING <br />OF STREET LIGHTS, STREET LIGHTING <br />AND OTHER ELECTRICAL SERVICES FOR <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the contract with the Illuminating Company <br />for the furnishing of electrical equipment and lights within <br />the City of North Olmsted is up for renewal, and <br />WHEREAS, Council now wishes to authorize the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract for the funishing of street lights, <br />street lighting and other electrical services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor and he is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract with the Illuminating Company. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the <br />public safety, health and welfare of the City by virtue of the <br />fact that street lights and street lighting are needed within <br />the City for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. WHEREFORE, this <br />Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and signature of the Mayor, otherwise at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: LiA.OI' /'j1~ <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
