~,~,, <br />:.k~.- <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70- /~~ <br />BY: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OPFOSING THE APPLICATION <br />FOR A LIQUOR PERMIT WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED BY WILLIAM THOMAS MACK, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4303.261 of the Ohio Revised Code the <br />North Olmsted Legislative Authority was notified of application No. New 5400609 <br />for a D-3 permit in the name of William Thomas Mack, 26540 Lorain Road, North <br />Olmsted, Ohio ;and <br />WHEREAS, Section 4303.261 of the Ohio Revised Code provides for the <br />Legislative Authority to object to the issuance of an application for a liquor permit <br />within thirty (30) days of the date of the notification of such application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Council of the City of North Olmsted ,Ohio does <br />hereby exercise its right to object to the issuance of a D-3 permit applied for <br />under application No. New 5400609 by William Thomas Mack, 26540 Lorain Road, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, and for the reason that said location is unsuitable for the <br />liquor permit, and does direct the Clerk of Council to send by certified mail <br />1. Two certified copies of this Resolution of Objections ;and <br />2. Two signed statements in writing , listing the reasons for <br />the objections. <br />and prays that the Department of Ligour Control set a time and date for a member <br />of this Council to be heard on this matter. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health d <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that the Ohio Revised Code provides for <br />the Legislative Authority to object to the issuance of an application. WHEREFORE, <br />this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, <br />otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: d ~~rJI~/97o <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
