,~-: <br />,~' h <br />.~ <br />~' <br />w <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 70 - 175 <br />BY i ~ ,~.cc..~u~_ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE REI~VAL OF <br />SNOW AND ICE FROM CERTAIN STREETS AND ROAD <br />BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />CUYAHOGA GOUNTY, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY . <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively <br />approved a Snow and Ice Removal Program for the 1970 - 71 Winter Season; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and ice are Municipal Streets and also County Roads known by the <br />following names and lying between the limits designated, viz: <br />ROAD <br />BARYON ROAD <br />CEDAR POINT RD. <br />CLAGUE ROAD <br />DOVER CENTER RD. <br />FITCH ROAD <br />LEWIS ROAD <br />MACKENZIE ROAD <br />MASTICK ROAD <br />STEARNS ROAD <br />FROM <br />SOUTHERLY CITY LINE <br />COLUMBIA RD. <br />NORTHERLY CITY LINE <br />NORTHERLY CITY LINE <br />BUTTERNUT RIDGE RD. <br />CEDAR POINT RD. <br />LORAIN ROAD <br />COLUMBIA ROAD <br />LORAIN ROAD <br />TO <br />LORAIN ROAD <br />EASTERLY CITY LINE <br />MASTICK ROAD <br />BUTTERNUT RIDGE RD. <br />SOUTHERLY CITY LINE <br />SOUTHERLY CITY LINE <br />SOUTHERLY CITY LINE <br />EASTERLY CITY LINE <br />SOUTHERLY CITY LINE <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE It Ordained by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the <br />consent of the Municipality be and such consent is hereby given to the <br />removal of snow and ice on the above mentioned highways between the termini <br />aforesaid, by the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />ordinance necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health <br />and safety; such necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet <br />storms many soon create hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence <br />whereof great public inconvenience would be suffered and public travel <br />endangered and delayed. WHEREFORE, said ordinance shall take effect at <br />the earliest time as provided by law and upon acceptance by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 3.
