CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 70-165 ar ~~ Amended A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LOCATION OF THE STEARNS ROAD EXTENSION THROUGH THE CITY OF NORTH OLMST£D BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY. WHEREAS, the County of Cuyahoga wishes to extend Stearns Road north of Lorain Road into Bassett Road ;and WHEREAS, the Cuyahoga County Engineers have presented to the City of North Olmsted the location plans of the Stearns Road Extension ;and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted wishes to formally approve the location of Stearns Road north of Lorain Road. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio Section 1. That the Council of the City of North Olmsted hereby approves the location of Stearns Road Extension as set forth in the Recommended Alternate and Lorain Road Intersection Alternate No. 3, as shown in the Route Location Study Document presented to the Council of the City of North Olmsted April 3, 1970. Section 2. That the Council of the City of North Olmsted requests the County Commissioners to take the necessary steps to establish the above mentioned route as a public right-of-way. Section 3. That the Council of the City of North Olmsted urges the early improvement of the unimproved section of this road. Section 4. That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this Resolution the Commissioners of Cuyahoga County and to the Cuyahoga County Engineers office upon the effective date of this Resolution. Section 5. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV •, Section 12 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
