4+w d~46 CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70-~.5~a2-. r- AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EMPLOY REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS FOR THE PURPOSES OF DETERMINING THE VALUE OF REAL ESTATE NECESSARY TO CONSTRUCT A COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Council of the City believes that it is necessary that the City construct a general hospital within the limits of this municipal corporation in order to provide more convenient hospital care for the ordinary illness of its residents requiring hospitalization and more prompt care for its residents in emergency situations ;and WHEREAS, the Council of the City now believes that the costs of pro- viding such Hospital should be paid by the users of the Hospital's services ; and WHEREAS, various lands necessary for the hospital site must be appraised for the purposes of purchasing such lands ;and WHEREAS, Council now wishes to authorize the Mayor to retain the services of an appraiser in order to have the lands for hospital services appraised. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio Section 1. That the Mayor be authorized to obtain the services of a qualified land appraiser in order to have the lands necessary for a hospital with- in the City of North Olmsted appraised. Section 2. That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that the development of the City of North Olmsted may proceed as rapidly as possible.
