5 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70- 7~ <br />BY ~~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />2000 TONS OF ASPHALT, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 2000 tons of asphalt for use in repairing <br />the streets of the City according to the specifications now on file in his <br />office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City <br />by virtue of the necessity of obtaining material for the repair of the City` s <br />streets and roads as soon as weather permits. WHEREFORE, this Resolution <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at <br />the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
