CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70-~,$.. BY ~_ AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND SETTING FORTH THE COMPENSATION TO ~3E PAID EMPLOYEES THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 70-29, AND D£- CLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council wishes to establish an Organizational Chart setting forth the number of employees within the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted ;and WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the remuneration of all employees in the Engineering Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio Section 1. That the complement of the North Olmsted Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer Acting City Engineer Assistant Engineer Party Chief Chief Inspector Inspectors (2 ) Draftsmen Engineering Aids (2 ) Secretary Clerk Consultants Part-Time Inspectors (as needed ) Summer Help (as needed ) Section 2 . That retroactive to January 1, 19 70 , the remuneration of employees in the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer $13, 000.00 to $16, 000.00 Annually Acting City Engineer $13, 000.00 to $16, 000.00 Annually Assistant Engineer $ 9 , 000.00 to $12 , 000.00 Annually Party Chief $ 3.60 to $ 4.75 Per Hour Chief Inspector $ 3.60 to $ 4.75 Per Hour Inspectors $ 3.00 to $ 4.25 Per Hour Draftsmen $ 3.00 to $ 4.25 Per Hour Engineering Aids $ 2.75 to $ 3.75 Per Hour Secretary $ 4 , 300.00 to $ 5 , X00.00 Annually Clerk $ 4, 000.00 to $ 5, OOOQO Annually Part-Tins Inspector (as needed) $ 3.00 to $ 4.00 Per Hour Summer Help (as needed) $ 1.60 to $ 2.50 Per Hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance Semi-Monthly.
