<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 70- ~~ <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE OLMSTED <br />HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO DISPLAY FOR CIVIC <br />PURPOSES CITY PROPERTY CONSISTING OF <br />TWO SETS OF STONE CARRIAGE-MOUNTING <br />STEPS AND A WOODEN STORAGE STRUCTURE. <br />~:>:_. <br />WHEREAS, the Service Director has advised Councfl that the City no <br />longer has any need for City property consisting of two sets of stone carriage- <br />mounting steps and a wooden storage structure, and <br />WHEREAS, the Olmsted Historical Society has advised Council that <br />their organization is desirous to display for civic purposes the two sets of <br />stone carriage-mounting steps and the wooden storage structure, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that it will be to the best interest of <br />the citizens of the City of North Olmsted to have the Olmsted Historical Society <br />display said stone carriage-mounting steps and wooden storage structure. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Olmsted Historical Society be and is hereby authorized <br />to display for civic purposes property consisting of two sets of stone carriage- <br />mounting steps and a wooden storage structure, and the Mayor of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized to sign a contract with the Olmsted Historical Society per- <br />mitting the stone carriage-mounting steps and the wooden storage structure to <br />be displayed. <br />Section 2. That the Olmsted Historical Society upon accepting the two <br />sets of stone carriage-mounting steps and the wooden storage structure agrees <br />that in the event that the Olmsted Historical Society should be disbanded, the <br />two sets of stone carriage-mounting steps and the wooden storage structure are <br />to be returned to the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to mail a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Trustees of the Olmsted Historfcal Society to become a <br />permanent part of their records. <br />Section 4.
