~:. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 70- '~~/ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION URGING PASSAGE OF SENATE BILL N0. <br />484 RELATING TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR TAX PAID ON <br />MOTOR VEHICLE FUEL USED IN OPERATING A TRANSIT <br />BUS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined it would be to the best <br />interest of the City of North Olmsted to be reimbursed for the tax <br />paid on motor vehicle fuel used for the operating of_ transit buses, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 484 would in fact provide for <br />such payment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That this Council be placed on record as <br />favoring passage of Senate Bill No. 484, relating to the refund <br />of motor vehicle fuel tax on fuel used for operating transit buses. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is directed to <br />forward certified copies to the member of the Ohio State Senate <br />from Cuyahoga County, the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee <br />of the Ohio State Senate, the President of the Ohio State Senate <br />and the Governor of the State of Ohio. <br />Section 3. That this Resolution is hereby determined to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public <br />welfare, and that such emergency exists due to the fact that Senate <br />Bill No. 484 is presently being heard by the Ways and Means Committee <br />and that early enactment of this measure would be extremely beneficial <br />to the City of North Olmsted.
